Entertaining Grace
We love music. We play all kinds for our daughter  and watch her like she's a science project to see if she's moved by any particular artist or type of music or instrument.

Currently our CD changer has these selections which Grace seems to enjoy.

The Beatles - One
(this disc is by far her FAVORITE. I strongly recommend it. It contains 27 hits that all went to number one on the charts. It's funny to think that in their Hey Day the Beatles were these radical, edgy long haired rock and rollers and now some 33 plus years later their music is ideal for dancing with your baby)

Lyle Lovett - Joshua Judges Ruth
Will Smith - Big Willie Style
Enya - A Day Without Rain
Miles Davis - The Essential Miles Davis
Baby Mozart - Mozart

As Far as Video goes I don't want to make my kid a TV junkie but there are some things I feel are beneficial viewing even for a six month old.  (PLUS sometimes you need to distract a kid just to catch a break for your own sanity)

Grace's Video Collection

(The Baby Einstein Series)
Baby Mozart  (she likes this tape the best)
Baby Bach  (good before bedtime)
Baby Einstein  (language nursery)

As far as TV shows go... it's the same as the video, moderation is the key.

We watch
Sesame Street  (she likes Elmo)
Blue's Clues
Oswald
BEAR in the BIG BLUE HOUSE

Of course she's only 6 months going on 7 but she still needs to be entertained and hopefully she's learning something along the way.  And at the very least I get a chance to sip my cold cup of coffee.
