Make A Date With Your Child

I know life can feel overwhelming and sometimes we lose focus on our true priorities. The every day routines of life often get in the way of making our children feel special. If it’s been a while since you spent quality one on one time with your child(ren) set aside time to make a date with them.

As you schedule your date, here are some helpful hints:

1. Include your child in the planning.
2. Try to fight the habit of spending a lot of money on a date. Find activities that are free such as visiting a park, playing tennis, flying a kite, working on a family tree, organizing family pictures, etc.
3. If you have multiple children, plan unique activities with each of them. Do not feel that you have to do the same thing with each child.

Have a great week with your family.
