How does it feel to have a father by your side?
Someone who gives you encouragement when you need it?
How does it feel to have a father care about your dreams and aspirations?
Or, to tell him about your dreams that went astray?
How does it feel to have someone care when you are lonely and hurt?
Father, so much as been overlooked. And, there is something you need to know.
My life’s journey has been in pursuit of your love.
I want you to know that I will love you always regardless of your absence in my life.
And, one day we will sit together in heaven and reminisce what could have been.
